image004 Studvet Turbo is currently standing at the Wilgerus stud in Pretoria.  Turbo has had a very successful past 2 years in the SANESA school league in showing and dressage, with rider Hildegard Steyn.  In 2009 he qualified first for Open Performance Riding and qualified for Advanced working riding in the Gauteng North region, thus receiving Gauteng North colours.  He also represented the region in Elemenatry dressage.  In 2008 Turbo was part of the Gauteng team for Advanced working riding in the school league.   In the same year he also performed well at the Welsh Summer festival being placed in all his classes and receiving a 3rd in the Show Hunter class judged by the UK international judge.

Prior to competing with Hildegard, Turbo was ridden by Willem Engelbrecht with whom he won many showing titles. Some of the highlights are winning the 2007 Adult show riding horse, working riding and best trotter classes and being placed as the reserve champion show riding horse at the Pretoria Show.  In the same year he also won the Show Hunter class at the Horse and Hound show at GHS.

Wilgerus Hope put in foal to Studvet Turbo for the 2010 season.  Hope was the Champion Nooitgedacht mare of the year in 1998 at the age of only 18 months and in 2004 she won the champion Nooitgedacht mare at the Horse of the Year show.
image017 Wilgerus High Hopes. (Sire Studvet Turbo Dam Wilgerus Hope).  As a foal he won the pure bred colt under 12months in 2005 at Pretoria show.  In hand he also came second in the General Breed class at the Autumn Gold Cup show in 2008.  This was a class judged by a visiting UK judge and she was very impressed as High Hopes was the first Nooitgedacht she had ever seen.  High Hopes has been gelded and is currently being ridden by young children and has competed in a few school shows.
